Please plan on being at the office for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours including check-in time, reserved time with the doctors and their assistants, and scheduling of any additional treatment that you may need.
At your first visit, your doctor will perform a thorough examination of your oral structures. They will review your medical and dental history and your current concerns for your oral health. If x-rays are necessary, they will be taken and reviewed. Your doctor will perform an oral cancer screening and take the necessary measurements required to diagnose your condition and formulate a treatment plan for your individual case. Your doctor will discuss your treatment plan with you and answer questions that you may have, and our treatment coordinators will discuss financial arrangements and schedule you for future appointments.
At Sierra Nevada Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, we offer patient forms online so you can complete them in the convenience of your own home or office. Fax us your printed and completed forms or you may bring them during your visit.
